Dehydrators
Our Dehydrator plants can be used for various solvents like Ethanol, IPA, Methanol, Ethyl Acetate, Acetonitrile, pentane, hexane, cyclohexane, butanol, methanol, acetone, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Diethyl Ether, MTBE, Dioxane, THF, etc.
Our unique technology developed in-house in 2006 for the dehydration of solvents (and solvent mixtures) whereby we regenerate the adsorbent using vacuum and a purge. This is similar to Pressure Swing Adsorption. After successful testing of our pilot plants with industry leaders, we now have over 30 plants working with pharmaceuticals companies like Lupin, Aurobindo Pharma, Jubilant Organosys, Mylan Laboratories, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Hetero Labs, Laurus Labs, Divis Laboratories, etc.
Advantages:
-
Lesser quantity of molecular sieves required as compared to a TSA plant
-
Increased life of molecular sieves as compared to a TSA plant
-
Since regeneration of the sieves is by pressure swing and by using a part of the dried solvent, there is no requirement of any other media (fluid)
-
Dried product moisture content is consistently lower than other processes.
-
It is a fully automated plant
-
The plant works continuously on a 24-hour basis (it is not a batch process)
-
Less operator time required as it is fully automated and continuous.
-
Less area required as compared to other systems.
A special grade of molecular sieves (3A SG) was developed by us for this application.
We manufacture the dehydrators with capacities of 5kl/day, 10kl/day, 20kl/day and 30kl/day.
